Yes, we encourage it. Please call ahead to arrange your visit. If you or a representative are unable to visit in person, we are happy to send photos, answer questions by phone, or schedule a video call to walk you through the property.
Once you decide The Ranch is the perfect place for your celebration, we'll reserve your dates for 72 hours while you review and sign the contract and submit your initial payment.
After booking, you'll receive your contract, The Plan, a lodging list, vendor recommendations, planning tips, and menu information. The Plan is a living document that evolves with your event and keeps everyone on the same page throughout the planning process.
Joni, the owner, will be your primary point of contact from start to finish. She'll work closely with you to answer questions, coordinate details, and help ensure your event unfolds seamlessly. We strive to respond to all communications within 24 hours, and as your event approaches, our response time becomes even quicker.
Before you arrive, we'll review your timeline, vendor information, family details, and any weather contingency plans. We'll also confirm the rehearsal schedule so everything is in place before the big day. While we don't replace a wedding planner, we work alongside your planner or vendors to make setup and execution as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Joni and Jake are always on-site during events, and our entire team is dedicated to making your celebration everything you've dreamed of.

We encourage you to invite out-of-town guests who are not staying on property. They have traveled a long way to celebrate with you, so why not start the festivities early? Coordinate the timing with your assigned staff member and include them in the rehearsal itself. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol and mixers. For select packages, a bar and bar server can be hired. Your event insurance policy must include an alcohol provision. Because the ranch is surrounded by forest, fire safety is a top priority and seasonal restrictions may apply. Fireworks of any kind are not permitted. Smoking is allowed in designated areas only. For everyone's safety, candles are not permitted indoors or outdoors. We recommend using LED candles as a safe alternative.

Wedding guests staying on property in an RV may also bring a dog. For guests staying in other accommodations, we kindly ask that pets remain at home. For the safety of all guests, animals, and local wildlife, all animals must be leashed at all times.

The ranch's natural terrain is hilly, which presents some accessibility limitations. Please reach out before booking so we can discuss accommodations and ensure the best possible experience.
